Review
A Band Called Pain is a Northern California Group that has toured all over. If you want to hear what the essence of Rock & Roll should be then this is the band for you. Their hard driving music makes some stir inside of you. I predict that A Band Called Pain will make the big time. Storm, GalaxyStorm Radio.
Bio
Shaun Bivens of Oakland, California, and Allen Richardson of Richmond, California, met when they were ten years old, introduced by their cousin Charles. Once Charles had the chance to introduce the band “Kiss” to these young guys, they decided to form a band called “High Voltage” named after the great album by AC/DC.
They rocked the Catholic circuit until they were fourteen when Shaun moved to the central valley. Upon his return our guitarist Shaun was signed to RCA as a rapper in the early 90’s. Allen our lead singer, was signed to a major label as a r&b artist. The two old band members joined forces again and found a new drummer, Tony Providence of San Leandro, California, who was also in a hard rock band. Signed to Atlantic, Tony introduced them to Mark Web (Spyder) our bass player from Redwood City, California, and this four piece rock band was complete. They began recording and immediately began performing live from South Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles.
